Well, the benefits of this source of energy are obvious. First, solar energy is free and inexhaustible… at least until the sun runs out in billions of years. Second, solar power does not cause pollution. It is a really clean source of energy. Third, solar energy can be used to create electricity in remote areas. It is very expensive to get electricity lines there.
However, the problem is that solar power can only be produced during the daytime and when it is sunny. So in countries like the UK, solar energy can be an unreliable source. Moreover, the cost of installation is not low at all.
